Media Buyer

Perform specialized post analysis studies. Translate sales data to sell through computations. Research, write, and deliver detailed media presentations to clients.

Perform market research and contract administration for purchasing television media used for clients. Perform statistical analysis and qualitative analysis to evaluate sales by product and market in relationship to media expenditure. Analyze the demographic information of various TV shows to evaluate the efficiency of advertising campaigns.

Negotiate rates and design media schedules to effectively reach the products' targeted demographic markets and to meet household CPP/CPM goals.  Research and project cost efficiency of schedules available using Nielsen historical data.  Use media planning research software such as Strata to track media space and times available for purchase.

Produce daily advertising expenditure reports to ensure that advertising budget is maximized. Share insight to direction and obstacles in achieving campaign goals with media team.  Monitor spot placements and negotiate comparable make goods for preempted spots to ensure overall GRP goals are met. Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
